1st Safety Solutions was set up by Ian Scott to deliver practical and sensible, cost effective safety solutions to organisations of all sizes, from the self employed to multi site groups.

Ian is a highly experienced safety professional who, up to setting up 1st Safety Solutions, was employed by a major ports industry group as their health and safety manager.  During his time with this organisation he was instrumental in improving their safety management performance year on year, ultimately achieving an internationally recognised safety award (as verified by the British Safety Council).

He firmly believes that the philosophy of 1st Safety Solutions is to provide a service, advice and guidance that will allow a company to understand and take ownership of their safety management, and not just see safety as something that has to be done to meet the law.
